Easter Sunrise Service, March 31, 2024, Long Island Council of Churches Eastern Sunrise Service at 6:00 a.m.I have been singing for this ecumenical service for over 20 years. It was God provided weather, rain stopped and Sunrise was absolutely beautiful and God was kind to a singer and guitar player.
First time I met Rev. David C. Olson from Unitarian Universalist Congregational Church from Manhasset. He did Easter Prayer, Deacon Anthony Anchong from LI Food Pantry and Rev. A. Erik Rasmussen preached. Offering was collected for LICC Ministry. A Stone in My Shoe was message for the Young at Heart and we all received a pebble. Yours truly sang Let All Things Now Living. With Easter, let us all live with humanity, kindness and caring spirit! Jones Beach Parking Lot 6 was gentle and beautiful, indeed!
