Black History Month Celebration, Indian Consulate – February 25, Sunday, 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Celebration of Black History Month at Indian Consulate. This event began with yours truly’s and Shanti Fund initiative to recognize Black History in February. 2nd year celebration included Keynote Speaker, Dr. John B. King, Jr., Chanceller of SUNY(He did not make it due to traveling issue), Hon. Jumaane D. Williams, Public Advocate of NYC, poetry presentation by E. J. Antonio (poet), Soh Young & Friends (John Colonna Band and Rosina Caddington and Val Reis.
