March 17, 2023 NYSABE Bilingual Teacher of the Year recipient, Soh Young Lee-Segredo

I received a letter last night from NYSABE (NY State Association of Bilingual Education) that I am going to receive The NYSABE Bilingual Teacher of the Year 2023 on March 17, 2023 at East Wind, LI. I believe this is the first time Asian educator is receiving this award in 45 years and I broke the barrier!
