Suburban Diversity


Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2014, Hofstra University National Center for Suburban Studies Celebrating Diversity event was at Crest Hallow Country Club. As a Music Coordinator, Soh Young Lee-Segredo arranged musicians with keyboard, cello, Korean Zither (Gayakum), percussion, Chinese Dragon Dance, there were Indian dancer as well as Flamenco Dancers and Classical player. Sandy Project

Soh Young Lee-Segredo established NPO, Multicultural Council of NY in 2013 and MCCNY received grant  2014. The grant proposal was artist go into school and teach 3rd grader to learn about Sandy and paint sandy.

Sandy Project, study of Sandy and drawing with Christie (retired ESL teacher in Bayview Ave. School and Bayview School started with a trip to Nautical Miles to learn about water, Sandy’s effect and then drawing techniques.
